Aviator Sports Boosters Membership Drive
THE AVIATOR SPORTS BOOSTERS MEMBERSHIP CAMPAIGN FOR THE 2010-2011 ATHLETIC YEAR IS IN FULL SWING. MEMBERSHIP CHAIRMEN ARE SHALMERS AND JIM OESCH. THE AVIATOR SPORTS BOOSTERS 2010-2011 MEMBERSHIP KICK-OFF EVENT WILL BE HELD MONDAY, AUGUST 2, 2010 AT THE ALLIANCE ELK’S PAVILION.
PRIOR TO THE KICK-OFF EVENT, AN IMPORTANT ATHLETIC MEETING WILL BE HELD FOR ALL ALLIANCE HIGH SCHOOL AND ALL ALLIANCE MIDDLE SCHOOL FALL, WINTER, AND SPRING ATHLETES (GR 7 TO 12) AND THEIR PARENTS OR GUARDIANS. THE MEETING WILL BEGIN AT 6:00PM IN THE A.H.S. AUDITORIUM UNDER THE DIRECTION OF ALLIANCE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR, MIKE SCHOTT.

Free Summer Meals!
Click here for menu and locations for summer meals breakfast and lunch. All children ages 1-18 can eat lunch at these locations and no registration is necessary. Come join us!

Cost is $25.00 and includes daily snack and a t-shirt!
Registration forms can be found outside of the Alliance Athletic Office
Ticket window.
Registration forms and payment must be received by July 23.
Checks can be made payable to Alliance Cheerleaders.

Shout Out Ads for Fall Sports!!!
Show someone involved in a fall sport, cheerleading or band that you support him or her. For a $3 donation you can put a 10 word "shout out" in the fall sports program. Complete the Application by August 6th! Proceeds support the Band Boosters.
AMS Announcements
Volleyball Tryouts
The 7th and 8th grade girls' volleyball tryouts will be held on Tuesday Aug. 10th from 2- 4 p.m. and Wednesday Aug. 11th from 12-2 p.m. Both sessions will be held at the HIGH SCHOOL and they are both mandatory in order to make the team. Also, there will be a mandatory parent meeting for the girls who make the team on Aug. 11th at 7:00 p.m. in Room A at the High School.
NEW 7TH GRADE IMMUNIZATION
Due to the increase in the number of Whooping Cough or Pertussis cases, the state of Ohio is requiring all students entering seventh grade to get a booster dose of Tdap before they start school in the fall . Please send a copy of your child's immunization record showing the date your child received this newly required immunization to the school office by the start of school in August.

6th Grade Orientation and Title 1 Meeting
The 6th Grade Orientation and Title 1 Meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 18th, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. You will be able to meet your teachers, receive your schedule, try out your locker and take a tour of the building. We hope you can attend this important meeting to help you get oriented with Alliance Middle School!
Open House 7th and 8th Grades
Alliance Middle School Open House and Title 1 Meeting for 7th and 8th Graders will be held on August 26th, 2010 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. We hope to see you there!
