Alliance Early Learning School

\r\n

The students in Lori Gasparik's class at AELS learned about snow and snowflakes during the Winter Wonderland Unit. They examined a variety of snowflakes and their unique shapes. After going outside and observing the falling snow, the students came back in and created their own snowflakes. They learned that no two snowflakes are identical... just like children.

2nd Grade Reading

\r\n

Second grade reading classes have been studying different topics related to animals, animals in nature, in literature, animal habitats and animal poetry. As a final project, students selected an animal and spent a day researching. After their research and writing was done, they picked a creative way to share the information. Students made posters, fact cards, animal riddles or recorded video presentations. Way to go second grade superstars.
