The Alliance High School Key Club has been active so far this school year with raising money for those in need.

The overall donation to was made to the Walmart Puerto Rico Relief Fund, overseen by The Miami Foundation.
The club donated $400, which included a generous $200 donation from First Christian Church, 1141 W. Beech St., in Alliance.
Also making sizable donations were Mrs. Angela Mann's classes, which held a class--by-class competition to determine which period could donate the most money.
On November 4 the students also donated their time to help the Kiwanis Club’s annual Pancake Jamboree.
Students helped to bus tables, cook and serve pancakes and sausage, fill take out orders and anything else the Kiwanis Club needs help with throughout the day.
The breakfast raised several thousand dollars for the Kiwanis Club which uses the money to serve the Alliance community. The breakfast is the club’s largest fundraiser all year. More than 3,000 tickets were sold in advance at $6 a piece.
“We couldn’t do it without the Key Club students,” Susan Denning, Kiwanis Club member said.
