The Alliance High School Athletic Hall of Fame will be welcoming six new members to its distinguished club. The class of 2024 is represented by Samantha Bluhm '08, Mark Black '93, Vince Kehres '94, Coach John Hampu '69, Coach Al Eibel, and Dennis Clunk '75. These exceptional individuals have left an indelible mark on Alliance High School Athletics. Their achievements, dedication, and contributions have earned them a well-deserved place among their peers in the Athletic Hall of Fame.

The Class of 2024 will be the first inducted class into the Athletic Hall of Fame since 2019. Arriving at these six deserving participants was not an easy task. The Alliance Athletic Hall of Fame committee which is made up of former Alliance High School coaches and athletes, current AHS administration, and other Athletic Hall of Fame Members, met several times to evaluate nearly 50 applications. After much deliberation the field was narrowed down to Bluhm, Black, Kehres, Hampu, Eibel, and Clunk.

This year's inductees represent a diverse array of athletes, coaches, and contributors. Each member has their own unique story of perseverance and triumph. These stories have added to the rich history and tradition of Alliance Aviator Athletics. This class's contributions have had a lasting impact on the student-athletes and coaches that have come after them.

The Alliance High School Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2024 will be honored at halftime of the home boys varsity basketball game on Friday, February 16. The official introduction ceremony will be at 7 PM in the Alliance High School Auditorium on Saturday, February 17. The ceremony is free and open to the public. Please help us in congratulating and honoring the newest members of the Alliance High School Athletic Hall of Fame and all that they have accomplished!
