Jetsetter auditions are coming up! #acspresents

The Alliance High School Vocal Music Department will present its spring concert and awards presentation on Tuesday, May 15 at 7:00 in the AHS Auditorium, and this year's special guests will be the Northside Intermediate School Choir. Choirs will perform a wide variety of music, and students will be recognized for awards and accomplishments they have had in the area of music throughout the year. The concert is free and open to the public, but donations will be accepted. Choirs are under the direction of Carrie Chunat (AHS) and Suzanne Stieglitz (NIS).

The athletic department will be hosting free physicals good for the entire 2018-19 school year on May 10th to any interested current 6th-11th grade student. In order to get your physical on this date all paperwork must be submitted electronically by going to alliance-oh.finalforms.com by this Tuesday, May 1st. No paper forms will be accepted. Students without all paperwork submitted by May 1st will still be required to complete the paperwork online and then obtain their own physical. If you have questions or need a copy of the sign-up instructions please call the athletic office at 821-3972.

You have a couple more days to bring in non-perishable food for the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank !!! This is an organization that supplies food for the Alliance Community Pantry which feeds many in the community. Bring your food to any ACS building by April 26.

Elementary students just got done watching the first performance of Willy Wonka the Musical! It was full of magic and talent of students in preschool through 12th grade!

Let's support our cheerleaders!

Beginning Sunday February 11 and continuing until Sunday April 8, the Alliance High School boy’s soccer coaches will be holding an open gym at the Alliance Middle School for any boy currently in grades five through eleven. Fusbal goals have been purchased and small sided games will be played during these sessions. Boys in grades 9-11 will meet from 3:00 until 4:30 PM each Sunday while boys in grades 5-8 will meet from 4:30 until 6:00 PM. These sessions are open to any boy regardless of experience. Either gym shoes or indoor soccer shoes should be worn. Questions regarding open gym or boy’s soccer at the high school or middle school can be directed to AHS Head Coach Jim Brunie at 330-704-7002.

The Varsity Girls Basketball game vs Canton South this Saturday will start at 1:15pm and the Senior Night festivities will start around 12:30pm. Come support our Aviators!

Tonight girls basketball game has been canceled and rescheduled for Saturday at 12 PM. Senior night festivities will begin around 11:20 AM.

The Rising Freshmen Parent meeting tonight at AHS has been cancelled. We will have the meeting Tuesday, Jan. 23 in the Media Center from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Due to the dangerously cold temperatures anticipated for tomorrow, Alliance City Schools will not be in session on Friday, January 5, 2018.
