Jaymes Smith, a 7th grader at Alliance Middle School, is heading to the State Science Fair in May! Jaymes recently competed at the District 13 Science Fair where he earned a superior rating for his project "Dimples, Spin and Distance; Oh My!" 🏌️♂️ His project was a study on golf ball pricing and its effects on performance.

Reminder: Friday, March 15 is an early dismissal for all buildings. Schools will let out two hours early.

Maddy James is the first student from the Alliance Middle School Speech and Debate team to place at the state tournament! She took 5th place in Middle School Declamation over the weekend. Way to go, Maddy!

We are excited to announce that every student and staff member at Alliance City Schools will receive a pair of Solar Eclipse Glasses! These special glasses will allow our Aviators to safely experience this historic event. The glasses will be distributed by the buildings at the beginning of April. #RepthatA


For Read Across America week last week the Alliance Middle School Builders Club put together gifts for our district librarians! the students appreciate all their hard work and dedication to keeping reading alive! #RepthatA



Alliance Middle School recently held their school-wide Spelling Bee 🐝! Congratulations to Owen Zupanic for placing first for the 2nd year in a row and to Corie Horning for taking runner up!

Alliance City Schools will be closed on Monday, April 8th for the Solar Eclipse.
After consulting with the Stark County Emergency Management Agency and the Stark County Education Service Center, we have determined that it is in the best interests of our students, staff, and families to close school due to the anticipated number of people that will visit Stark County to view the Eclipse. The 8th graders visited Alliance High School last week to tour the Career Tech Programs! They learned about each program and got to see AHS students working on their career-related skills while visiting each program. #RepthatA





Builders Club students at Alliance Middle School recognized Board of Education members with appreciation gifts during School Board Appreciation Month! They talked about the importance of a School Board and all of their hard work and dedication. Ms. Suzie Dennis the ACS Board President made a special appearance and met the students! #RepthatA



The students at Alliance Middle School participated in a school-wide reading competition called The Tower of Books. Students were challenged to read as many books as they could over two months. The winners got to enjoy a pancake party in the library. There were 45 participants and over 296 books read. Way to #RepthatA!





All athletic events scheduled for today (Jan. 19) have been cancelled. This includes all practices, basketball games and the swim meet. #RepthatA
